Podcast
I think it was very difficult to condense my entire essay into a two minute podcast. The biggest challenge for me was determining what I wanted to include and what I didn’t want to include in the podcast. Even with the finished result, I still feel as if my podcast is incomplete, because I know that so much more is said in the actual essay. As for getting to know the program, I didn’t struggle much with it. I’d consider myself pretty tech savvy so it was easy for me to just take a couple minutes to play around with the program and figure things out as I went. I didn’t watch any of the given instructional videos, however if I had a direct question about how to do a specific thing, I would find a quick YouTube tutorial for it. Getting to know the program and editing the podcast probably only took about a half hour total. However, drafting the podcast and recording it took probably about an hour.

I really liked how you had background music for the whole podcast that was really quiet because it made listening more interesting and the music was not distracting from your voice either. I also liked how you reflected on how school almost forced you into your learning style because that’s the same thing that happened to me. I would recommend for a future project to maybe add in a small intro and ending statement to make it sound more complete, since you mentioned in the reflection that it didn’t feel totally complete.
During the peer reflection I unfortunately had to miss class, so later I got the opportunity to sit down and listen to your podcast. I really enjoyed the soft but now over powerful music in the background as it added another element to your podcast. Your voice is quiet clear the entire time and there are only a slight few hiccups. I just wish there could have been more space in between the material provided for clarity, but I completely understand how it’s hard to condense that much material into 2 minutes.
