Audio Recordings
I tried using Audacity for my recording, but since I do not have a microphone, it was difficult to get a good quality recording on my laptop. When I tried recording there was a lot of static and background noises to the point where it was difficult to hear what I was saying. Instead, I tried using the Voice Memos app on my phone, since I could hold my phone’s microphone closer than my laptop’s. I got a better recording on my phone so I will use that from now on. I recorded on my phone and emailed the audio file to myself on my computer.

Hi Molly,
The voice memo file format may not be compatible with Audacity. Can you save the recording as .mp3 or .wav? If not, you might try a few different options: either record at DigiSpace using a microphone or convert your files, depending on your phone type. Another option is to use CloudConvert to convert the file (choose the free account).
